A little about Ms. Stainton…

Well, hello, Pinnacle!

My name is Mrs. Stainton. I am your Library Media Specialist (Librarian, to some of you).  I arrived at The Pinnacle Charter School on
October 22, 2007.

During the past few years, I have been involved with a non-profit education organization specializing in fly fishing.  I have also been a Banker. I missed teaching students so I made the decision to return to what I love doing…being a Library Media Specialist in a school.

In my free time, I like to read books about the Old West and India. I also like to travel, fly fish, and carve small items out of bones that I find on my fishing trips.  The bones are from deer, elk, cows and other animals.  All the ones I pick up are very clean because the coyotes have cleaned them off.  I carve fish and dogs and other subjects that strike my fancy.  Some can be worn as jewelry and some just sit on a shelf or desk.

I am very happy to be here with you and look forward to seeing you in the Library!

Mrs. Stainton
Your Library Media Specialist

A little about Ms. Gayla

Hello,

I’m excited about being a part of The Pinnacle Charter School staff.  I am a true native of Denver , as I was born and raised right here in the neighborhood.

Prior to coming to The Pinnacle, I worked in the non-profit sector, including a childcare center and a coalition that helped needy families in the City and County of Denver .

I enjoy spending time with my son and going to movies.  I am looking forward to getting back into past hobbies, like bike riding and hiking.
